One I never had in my childhood but was able to get in the late 90's. Now I'm on the hunt for a complete, boxed version. I appreciate this video as I always wondered what the difference was between the original release and the re-release. Great information and will come in handy on my hunt.

Why on earth were the four holes added into the top for the collector series?

Starting from 1983, every TIE fighter was built with these 4 windows evolution to bring light insight cockpit and look more like original spacecraft seeing in the original Star Wars trilogy.
