mine was totaly rebuilt ported the works had a 1979 yz 400 to liked it actuly had 2 of them

Buddy had one back in the day and I had the 79 400. I liked his better because mine was a handful in the dirt.

I have a 1979 yz 250 bored 80 over. I cant figure out what the float settings are. Would you know?

I have the 1980 YZ250 and can't believe how easily they flood. Just put in a new needle and seat and adjusted float in typical Mikuni fashion, level, and it will flood so easily if you don't turn petcock off immediately after riding.

got a 1978 Suzuki pe now it nothing like the yz but old school though totaly restored like eventuly find a 79yz
