Beautiful car, in the right color combo. For those of you curious about the powertrain: this vehicle does indeed have an Olds Rocket 350. This was the standard engine in 79. With the 6.0, and diesel as options. What makes this car unique is that in 1980 for Federal Emissions, GM discontinued the 350 Olds, and the standard engine became the 6.0, with diesel as an option. However, California emissions vehicles continued to use the 350 until 82 iirc; when the V8-6-4 😖 was introduced.

The 368 VIN code "9" DFI engine (aka 4-6-8) started in the 1981 model year. It continued in commercial car use (albeit it pretty limited numbers) through 1984. As someone who’s Grandfather owned an ‘85 with the 4100, I can tell you it feels almost weird to say an Eldorado with 100,000 miles still has lots of miles left with just routine maintenance!! God how I wish they’d have let anyone order them with this engine..... or at least a 307.
