Your video was excellent. I am looking for a CSY project boat to work on for next few years. I am very curious about the details of your build and how she sails. Thank you for taking the time to post this video!!

What a beautiful job you’ve done on it! I’ve been looking at boats and am leaning toward this model. Now from seeing all the storage and with the headroom specs the 37 has I think this is what I am going to go for. Thank you for the video!!!

Thanks for the compliment Mike. Make no mistake it's a labor of love! Just returned from a 480 mile shakedown. She sailed well on most points except runs where the main is into the aft lowers most of the time, a trade-off. The CSY 37 is one tough cookie built of solid FRP - no hull or deck core materials. I think 80 or 90 were built. This is #72 - good luck with you search.

Wow you did an amazing job, I'm starting a full restore of a 119880 csy 37 A floorplan this spring. She has been badly neglected so I'm starting by repainting the hull. What paint do you recommend for the bottom it's the burgundy red color. Thanks Tim.

Best of luck with your restore! Bottom paint selection is a lot about your local water and flow. In the Tampa Bay area I'm a firm believer in Pettit Trinidad 75. It's 75% Cuprous Oxide and lasts us up to 10 years. I sailed her 8K nm solo around the North Atlantic 2019. The bottom paint is now 4-5 years and only a hand full of barnacles grow excluding prop and shaft. It's a hard epoxy based bottom paint I've used very successfully over the past 30 + or - years and would have nothing else. BTW I tried the "SR" type once, it did not perform as well. www.practical-sailor.com/boat-maintenance/special-maintenance-sectionpettit-trinidad-sr-leads-a-large-group-of-bottom-paints-2
