This isn't a GMC, its a Chevy. Chevy called their version El Camino, GMC called theirs Caballero. And this clearly has El Camino painted on the side.

I haded elco’s it is a 1980 el Camino. With 87 front grill and side view mirrors. If you notice it has a 1978 to 1981 dash cluster.
