I'm glad you mentioned Chevy screwing up the Blazer. That was once a great vehicle. The new one looks like everything else in the GM lineup.
@swagmonee56995 жыл бұрын
...isnt that the point? A car usually has to share design queues with other vehicles in its brand. That's why BMWs all have those kidney grills, Toyotas have those whale mouth grills, and the Corvette back looks like a Camaro. If a Blazer didn't look like a Chevy vehicle then the designers failed at their jobs
@troy24785 жыл бұрын
@@swagmonee5699 They were able to bring the camaro back a few years ago and make it looked good. They didn't have to make it look like every other crossover. If you're going to do that don't call it Blazer. It's not going to help sales.
@swagmonee56995 жыл бұрын
They're just playing to the current market. Every brand has a whole big range of SUVs that are barely bigger than one another but that's what the people want. I agree they should've made the Blazer more off-road worthy or at least given it a different name, but the car itself isn't that bad. And it isn't going to hurt sales either. If anything, I think it'll help sales because the older people that are getting SUVs are going to remember the Blazer name, possibly connect it to a good memory or something, and then buy it based off nostalgia or maybe just name recognition.

@@devnotes00 Understood but that particular generation of civic was very desirable especially with the single cam 1.6. That was the engine that Honda claimed to get 500,000 miles out of and of course, if you don't beat it or do god knows what to it, it will last that long.

Kids who have never fixed anything have no idea how much fun and how satisfying it is to fix and daily a car like this. I know everything on KZbin has 1000hp but those cars are unreliable money pits and are unattainable for a lot of people. You can learn a ton and have a lot of fun with something like this. It's cheap to fix, easy to fix and will only be worth more if/when the time comes to sell it.

Then the kid probablly found one desperate enough to let it go for 500 bucks which isn't suprising. If you have the time, the patience, and willingness to sell off part of your soul for a good deal its more than possible.
