I have the same exact bike! Love it! This is a DOHC not single. Also you’re missing the original side plates.

Nice. I have and still ride this exact bike. Bought it new in 1980.

Bought one in England a while ago (imported from the USA) and after some repairs, including putting right some ham-fisted butchery of the carbs, front brake, oil filter area plus general re-commissioning, I finally got to take it out for a run yesterday. I love it.

Man with the CBs! I love the old Honda UJMs, I had a candy apple 1980 CB 650C I bought new and its one of the bikes I regret ever selling. The carbs were leaned out to satisfy the feds but once you rejetted them they were awesome.

Bought one Just like that one for $1800 when I was 16 (1992) and it had 57,000 on it. Only ran out of gas Once.. Wish it had a Fuel Gauge. Traded it for a Motor Home in 1999 and got $2500 for it. Just got another one 3/25/2022 with only 28,000 on it for $2200 but it does need a Valve job/Adjustment but can be driven as is. Came with a Front Cowl, Not attached, and someone made it HD style exhaust.. I got on it after all these years and Daaaammmmmmnnnnn it felt Soooooooo goood to be back on it. UPDATE: Just a Week after having it, Engine Went to Shite! and could barely move itself under it's own power. Just got it back 2 Years Later after shop put in a New Engine and went over it and the Carbs and and and... Just under $5,000 into restoring it. Got home and my right leg was Wet... Oil! Sprayed Oil Everywhere... Have to take it back... YEA!

I have a 1980 cb750c with exact same paint. Bought it with 8,000 original miles in 2013. Recently rebuilt the carbs because of a hanging idle. The slow speed jet fuel passage plugs were rotted. Runs like a beast with an old school kirker header

Me too! Exact same bike, i just hit 112,000 Miles before putting it away :3 cant wait for it to warm up!

He knows it’s a DOHC. He was just thinking ahead of himself and blurted the wrong call. What he DIDN’T know was that his pants fly was wide open. Happens to the best of us on occasion.

I hate to tell you this but when there is 2 Camshafts showing obviously it is the DOHC model starting in 1980.

I just restored a 1980 Honda CB750 Custom. Just got her running, too. I don’t know how, but she only has 18,000 miles on her.

I had one but the color was maroon and cream, what a nice bike, I used to start it by sticking a screwdriver under seat shorting the selonoid, crossed as an anti theft technique,never caused a problem.it has the same frame and engine as the street bike CB750E, I knew someone who just changed the tank, seat and handlebars and made it into a C.

Just wondering if the late 70s twin cam 750s are as desirable as the more classic sohc models from the earlier 70s?
@Francey4782 Жыл бұрын
Had one twenty years ago. Sold it back to the shop owner who sold it me after only a few months. It developed issues and they blinded me with science and cost. I lost out big time. Wish l'd known then what l know now. So regret letting that bike go.

Single overhead cam?! No speedo cable?! Sounds suspect. Will it be titled as True milage unknown?
@KaplanCycles5 жыл бұрын
Correction DOHC , I misspoke! Speedo cable missing yes, I am 95% sure the mileage is correct. The previous owner took it off the road and started working on it He had the rear Fender off and was replacing the speedometer cable and just Lost interest
