1980 Mainship 34T Mk 1 -- A Tour of Our "New to Us" Old Boat.

A look inside and out at our "new" Salish Sea cruiser. The good, the bad and the curious things we discover as we prepare for a springtime shakedown outing on a 1980 Mainship 34T which has replaced our venerable IS25 pocket trawler. Our only on-the-water experience with her so far has been a 20-minute sea trial in poor January weather and then moving her a short distance from one marina to another just before we headed south to the Arizona desert to leave winter behind.
I think she is a lot of boat for the purchase price but, of course, time will be the judge of that.

Sorry we 'stole' the Mainship out from under you but it looks like you found a great alternative. We will look for Blue Eyes out in the waters of Quadra and the other Discovery Islands.
