I’m a vintage toy collector in your neighborhood and I collect based on what I played with as a kid. So I have things in my collection that I would’ve had at age 1 on up to my first set of car keys. I have a bunch of Fisher-Price toys because that was mainly what my mother bought for me when I was a toddler. Like for instance I have the Roly Poly chime ball, playskool McDonald’s play set, Fisher-Price school days desk and a couple of other things to help identify those premium years of childhood. I do not collect complete runs of a toy because I find it to be just a waste of money. I want in my collection those things that bring a smile to my face, not that I have all the figures in a run plus the variants. I would go bananas if I collected in that way.

Im a little behind in some of your videos. LOVE THESE CATALOG TOURS! I didnt see anything that I could "remember" having, although I did see some toys that I remember during that time. Hot Wheels.....ahhhhh the Hot Wheels. Yeah I once owned about HALF of all those Hot Wheels. Fortunately I have been able to buy them all back now, and they are sitting nicely in a cabinet now. I also did once own the Super Rally Case, the case that looks like a tire at 25:48. And with that one, I have bought it back too. Brings back memories thats for sure! Thanks David!

At the 25:25 mark I was very happy yo showed the hulk Truck that you can look through. I tried my best over on my channel (which isn't really toy related, sorry) to show what the image looks like. I was glad to see a very basic cut-out image next to the boy in the catalogue showing what the Hulk looked like. I still have that and the yellow Hulk van, and the Captain America car. Unfortunately I no longer have the Human Torch car, but it was very sleek and very fast as I recall. Thank you for posting this.

I had the Captain America one myself back in the day!

@@OpenByChance I'm really enjoying your channel and was able to chime in a few times on Saturday. I'm going to mention you guys on my meager channel tonight. but don't get too excited I only get about 130 views. Ha, anyway, your videos are a delight, and even your horror stories about badly wrapped packages are very entertaining. Keep up the excellent work.

I have a Hug n Talk , the Baby baa baa. It's packed away with some Serta sheep and Ideals Bye Bye Baby I think. It still talked the last time I checked, one phrase is " I'm Baby Baa Baa ", can't remember what else. Love the old catalogs and would like to see some 1960s ones or even the 60s Sears Wish Books would be great fun to look at.
