I have a 1980 oldsmobile delta 88 (burgundy or ruby red) royal brougham Had an autumn maple red colored vinyl rear top.Which i eventually eliminated but kept the chrome trim and painted the to p "autumn maple red".Same front grill, rear tail lights, side front cornering light and side post opra lights.Car came with a 307 four barrel v-8 engine ,thm 350 transmission. Two door same chrome centre bezels not snap in or painted,with outer chrome trim rings .Had two speed wipers with wiper switch on the side below the air conditioning vent on driver side .Bought a 1979 oldsmobile pulse wiper switch and a1973-74 buick pulse wiper motor with those copper looking (two )contacts sticking out.Pluged right into the original wiper harness plug under hood ,and bolted on and fit the 1979 wiper switch right in where the two speed wiper switch was on dash .They look simular except the pulse wiper switch has three wires one orange color for ignition ,and a green and white wire to plug onto the two contact on the 1973-74 buick wiper motor now i have pulse wipers on my car .I brought the car used in 1998 still running today .Added a power radio antenna. And reinstalled the air conditioning system all new .Except the high side liquid line i had to make one out of barrier hose and that new cripping tool they now sell.Ac work fine but had to convert from r-12 ac refrigerant to r134a refrigerant,and pag 150 compressor oil.With a smoog pump delete bracket and a four season pully wheel to convert to the v-belt.No computer excep for the five pin ignition module in the hei ignition system .The fourth pin advances and retards timing ten degrees by use of an electrical vacum switch.Later on the fourth pin on the ignition module was used i heard as a knock sensor type setup.Ignition timing 20 degrees before top dead centre.Had trany rebuilt once and put in a rebuilt short block and rebuilt heads etc .Car still runs smooth to this day.Now to get a little body work and new paint job Damnskippy.

1979 was the last year that GM equiped the Delta 88 with a 350 V8. So this car would had originally had a 307 V8 with a metric 2004R Transmission. Personally I like the 350 better. Its a shame they didn't reinstall the AC on this car. For the $26K asking price.. it ought to at least have working Air Conditioning.

I was never a fan of the two-door B-body coupes - too ungainly. Four-door sedans looked better. Was dual exhaust ever available as a factory option? Ford offered it on the Panthers as part of their trailer tow package.
