Are these cars expensive like the Audi Quatro S1?

I don't think so. Maybe original 400's. But there are many replicas build from normal chassis and engine blocks. Opel had an image crisis in the 90s and 2000s because of quality issues after cutting costs. Market share dropped, premium segment was left, ... While Audi went up in quality, reputation and (with some delay) sales. Quattro is the dream oldtimer for many people that own a modern Audi. But Ascona B still has a big fan base. Together with Manta B (same base) it's the last Opel with rear wheel drive in it's class.

Sad to see and realise that these great legendary brands like Opel, Lancia have vansihed from rallies and filth Hyundais like trash taken place!! Genuine factor is vanishing from this world!!
