1980's Cool-Breeze 9" Oscillating Fan

Model KH-09.
Here's a little 9" Kuo Horng fan branded under Cool-Breeze I got for really cheap at a thrift store locally.
Oscillates smoothly and runs good though the switch needs work, the low speed button will catch itself on the base and become stuck keeping the fan on.
It's seen better days with how the base and neck plastic is becoming brittle and crumbling to dust which seems to be a common issue these things develop overtime.
It only seems to happen on the base and neck, I have other KH fans that suffer from this also.

I have one of these and it also has the same issue with the plastic being brittle. Although it's not just the housing, the plastic on the motor is also deteriorating.
