1980's Dacia Duster in 2019 action

ARO 10 was an off-road vehicle produced by #ARO and manufactured in Romania. It shares auto-parts with Dacia 1300, from engine to front axle, and was inspired by the Renault Rodeo and Citroen Mehari.
The ARO 24 Series got a "little brother" in 1980, the ARO 10 Series. While the ARO-24 can be classified as mid-size SUVs, the ARO 10 is about the size of a Jeep Wrangler. It was produced in many body trims, equipped with seven different engines (both gas and Diesel), and came in both 4x2 and 4x4 versions. The ARO 10 was sold as the Dacia Duster in some international markets and in UK was named #Dacia #Duster.
This particular model is filmed in 2019 in UK and it is owned by Graham Robertson (Bravo!)

What's it like off road? There can't be many left now. Most people don't realise these original Dusters ever existed.

I bought a secondhand one back in late 1980's as I lived up an unmade road on the side of a steep hill, having just bought an old cottage there was a lot of rubbish to get rid of. Tough as nails, but pretty crude and no particularly well built, and leaked like a sieve. I didn't pay a lot for it but it would carry large load, rubbish out, and logs for my Woodburner in. Looking at the survivors I doubt many have been used off road.
