1980 Scout SD33T first start

Those SD-33 engines were solid engines... The only sad part was that they were old technology and weren't fully suited for vehicle use.... I owned one and had about 200,000.0 miles before I got rid of it... I did have to rebuild at 100,000.0 miles however... They have since ceased building them and parts are impossible (as far as I know) ...

Nice Job Jon! Love the color combination on the engine, sounds solid. I saw the intercooler setup, now you can play with it a little more than before. You should read Treven Bakers How to make real power with and SD33T on BP. He has a few goos tips on tweaking the turbo and IP. Well done : )

I think your timing is off in the video? the reason I think that is because mine was off half a turn and sounded the same way.. that was 15 yrs ago mind you.
