watched that race on a little 12" black and white television in the little cabin my folks had at the time. Timing is everything, absolutely loved those Muncey starts...

July of 1980 this was ran. Mt St Helens was still hot and bubbling after it's May eruption. I think I can see ash on the lens,,lol. A great race. Bill was a good start line thief.

Those old engines are too old. I say bring on the G class boats with Falconer v12's.

Muncey never would have had that blue blaster had Dave Herensberger not sold the winged Pay n Pak and all the equipment to him at the end of the 1975 season. Along with the winged Pay n Pak he also got that newer hull that was in the works. The blue blaster was to be a new Pay n Pak.
