what the heck was up with the production value for this game, the graphics were minimal and i looked up other nbc games from 1980 and they all have normal decent 1980s graphics and sound, this broadcast looks like nbc didnt want to even bother

Well the 80's Packers weren't exactly a "dynasty" team back then. The higher quality games seemed to go to the "better" or more popular teams. Plus Green Bay wasn't exactly an easy place to haul equipment to. Not like Chicago, New York, or even Baltimore who all have full ✈🛩airports🛬🛫.

I remember watching that game it was a 2:00 eastern kick and they didn’t even bother to go back to the studio for halftime that’s how little NBC thought of this game
