At least part of this footage would have been filmed on the 13 September 1989. I worked this out by the newspaper sports headline ‘ Liverpool 9 Crystal Palace 0, that game was played on the 12 September 1989.

I used to love going to West end and Sheperds Bush back in the 80’s when I was small by tube, I miss those days, I still do go west end a lot

I used to sneak onto the trains and buses especially during the 1980s era. This footage reminded me of the time. Its like traveling back in time. 😊The 72 and 220 routes were nearer to where I lived in South West London. I also recognize the location is Shepard's Bush. It was years before the Westfield centre was built.

Around this time in 89 London Underground had enough of graffiti covered dirty trains and prototypes of refurbished units were on show I got £5 on Saturday at Hammersmith to survey the C stick refurbishment ,great times fir me I was 21,30in waist and no grey hair and had a great job on the post as a driver ,superb better than now

Wtf, chatting crap, some of these are my parents generation and kind of above, my parents generation is 1950s when they were born, so in this video I know how old, my parents were in their late 30’s in the late 80’s, I’m nearly 38 this year ,so other people some were in their late 20’s, late 30’s and 50’s

Let's hope you weren't having a difficult day when (and IF) you were filmed then. It's one thing seeing other people, but it's easy to become self critical when spotting yourself on television/internet. I remember EXACTLY what was happening the week (a portion of) this video was filmed (September 1989), and I'm absolutely relieved it wasn't caught on film (to the best of my knowledge). Things can just get used against people, and it stops being fun. :(

Perhaps it was 13th september 1989. If you look at 3.07 you'll see the back page of a newspaper with 9 0 written on it....clearly a football result in a premiership/first division game. I remember this game ( liverpool 9 Crystal Palace 0 ) from the last eighties and having goolged it it turns out it was played on 12th September 1989. Although there may have been other games with this scoreline from the 80's it seems highly unlikely!
