Man does this take me back to many an afternoon in the 80s, hoping to get home in time for Transformers and GI Joe. There was also a daily contest to see which kids would be stuck sitting on the row over the rear wheels, with the hump in the floor board.

It depends on where the bus is. I know that there is at least 1 state that has the 2 red lights even on new buses. Most places will let u keep the older buses the way they are if they did not have amber lights when the bus was made.

0:26 This bus was still in service in my area up until late 2005, but it wasn't by Ford... It was International, I think. 2:48 I remember this bus, but it had a Thomas logo and black paint around the flashing lights.

The 1983 Ward in this video was originally owned by Baltimore County and it looks like a GMC Wayne next to it was Baltimore County as well. Except originally it was a Chevy but the GMC grill was retrofitted when doing front end work which happened to many of the 88 GMC Blue Birds in Baltimore County which had Chevy Grills.

What were the upper side walls like on the 1983 Ward? I know Baltimore County the oldest Wards they had during my school life the ceiling was the same exact shape as the roof and the 1986 Ward/Fords have the upper sidewalls above the windows. But those are no longer in Baltimore County's fleet.

Guys, Crown Coach Corporation was automatically shut down in 1991. Crown Supercoaches are no longer running in the system with our lives and troublesomes. This was the first Crown Coach bus to leave when they are retired.
