Tony Morley goal v Dynamo Berlin was special, great memories. BTW I'm a Leeds fan but that villa team was a joy to watch an they deserved the league in 81 and the European Cup a year later.

In my memory, the only team that did not concede goals in the three decisive stages - the quarterfinals, semifinals and finals. What is even more surprising - from the team, only Peter Withe was included in the England team for the 1982 World Cup.

Gordon Cowans 2nd best for me. David Platt in a Villa shirt was also something else. Morley was just phenomenal. His pace and finishing astonishing. Certainly up there that I most definitely agree.

Still cannot believe we lost to Villa in the final. Didn't see much of Villa the entire match and then they scored out of nowhere. To lose when the other team is better one can deal with. It becomes tricky when you lose like that. Pisses you off really....lol
