Thank you for the info. However, I notice on the two piece the pivot bracket is exposed and the one piece it is covered. That seems to be constant and much easier to see which one you have.

My driver side is 1 pc but my passenger side is 2 pc on my 1985 . I think somebody changed one. Can I find one at a junk yard and just replace the whole vent window will it work ?

I have a question mine looks like a two pieces just because the metal piece that holds the rivet is not covered, but the back piece has rivets not tabs.. what should i buy the one piece and leve the metal piece in there and glue over it.. or should i remove rivets and drill out extra holes for tabs... ? I havent been able to find a video on one with rivets ...

I have a 1985 gmc sierra classic C15 suburban with a 2 piece seal the driver window vent assembly somebody replaced it the top of the frame and glass has a curve the 1985 frame is more straight up vertical so which seal fits thecurved frame ?

The curved frame is the 81-87 so the kit you would need is VWK 1110 81 A

Do you use a little weather strip adhesive on the two piece system on the back of the strip that has the tabs?

No. The tabs alone are designed to hold that piece in place.

So if i snag a vent window assembly from a 87 or so It will fit my k 91 k3500 dually. It has solid windows that are scratched to hell. And no AC so i would love vent windows.....

If yours is the newer obs style then they will not work as they are specific for the 81-87 squarebodies.
