Can you please tell me where you run the two breather hoses?

I used CLR many years ago, which seemed to strip the surface off the carburetor so any screw parts wouldn't fit together anymore, also left a white residue. About a year ago I used Simple Green, but that also left a white powdery residue. Did you experience anything like this?

How to do know how to set the jets when you put the carb back together. Also how do you know which gas line is for the reserve

Hi Jeremy, there was nothing to set concerning jets during the reassembly of the carb. I just bought the correct jet sizes for the carb model and screwed them in. For the air screw that is on the outside of the carb once it is assembled, I seem to remember that I just used the standard factory settings from the manual. I think it was something like.. screw all the way in (but not too tight) and then screw it 2 to 2.5 turns out. For the throttle stop, it depends upon how fast you want your bike to idle. As far as reserve versus main line, I'm sorry but I can't remember! It should hopefully say in the manual. Sorry I couldn't be more specific.

For figuring out which line is which, I put a rubber cap on a screwdriver, and touched it to the main (high) tube in the tank, and felt the change in airflow on the fuel line by blowing/sucking.

The gas line which is closest to the front wheel is the main, and the one closest to the rear wheel is the reserve. Main is above the reserve on the the petcock.
