1981 Johnson 4 hp outboard first start after repairs

Finally was getting the Johnson back together and trying the first start. Starting didn't go as planned because of my old gas.

What about your waterpump impellor, running it dry does not seem to be a good idea?, thanks for your very informative video, really appreciated 👍

Not good idea to run the little motor without being in water. But it ran very little. Thanks Bob.

Those small motors do not like old gas , the larger ones don't seem to mind it as much 🤔
