1981 Kawasaki CSR 250

I have recently bought a 1981 250 LTD - this year - 2023 in the UK . I have never seen this model before it looks quite advanced for a 42 year old motorcycle

I got a 92 its boghing down an idles at 4000 any idea how to fix it

TAKE CARB OFF AND CLEAN THOROUGHLY OR TAKE OFF AND TAKE IT TO MOTORCYCLE SHOP HAVE THEM DO IT

@@jimmybob439 yeah i did soaked it in gas scrubbed it with a tooth brush for over an hour got alot of but it leaks an still boggs theres no vaccum leak either also they quite making parts for these bikes ive called very store in my state looked on ebay and amazon cant find nit 1 thing for it

@@silentscratcher6462 you have to remove the jets clean them with a wire also remove the float and clean the slide jet when bikes sit any amount of time the reformulated gas does bad things to them. i always use premium none formulated gas . also close petcock and run it empty

@@silentscratcher6462 I have the same problem last time I rode my 81 csr 250 my clutch cable and throttle cable snapped. You can order some of the parts instead for the same year but a kz250 instead of csr 250 and they will match up, but in my case the csr cable are just a couple inches longer than the kz cables so I was out of luck. Other parts may be possible though.
