I like that you ride the bikes alot in your videos, because the sound of engines are important.

OMG I rode a 1981 silver KZ750 for 20 yrs. Identical paint scheme. This rolled by my recommended feed and I thought I was looking at my old trusty KZ. The feeling that accompanied that glimpse, was a good one. 👍

I love this channel not just because of the rips but because each episode is like a history lesson in the greatest pastime ever... motorcycles ❤️. Kens knowledge is amazing and I have learned so much by just watching your great channel. I look forward to visiting your museum next time I’m on your side of the pacific. Keep up the great work 👌

I have the exact bike, plus the 4/1 Kerker under a cover for *28 years.* Had the matching year KZ500 for awhile, my kid and I did much travel on those. The KZ1000-J2 is basically retired, mothballed. I like my GL1800 better for cycling.

I bought a new 1980 Honda CB750F after I got out of high school. I remember racing Z1Rs and RD400s on the street. That 750F was badass in its day. I would love to have a 1000J. Although those things are ancient compared to any new sport bike.

I always wondered why the U.S version had a more rounded tear drop shaped fuel tank compared to the more coffin square type we had in Europe.

When bikes were bikes, it's a beautiful bike, bulletproof for sure, the bikes now have gone the same way as cars full of electronics, ABS ETC ETC

Bought the j2 in 1982 in South Africa , it had a black paintjob with the two tone gold stripes . The place i bought it from brand new gave me a deal on taking the pipes and put on a kerker . Man loved this bike did a lot of mileage on it short and long distance and never felt uncomfortable .Lost it due to after it was left sitting while i was in the army i pushed it too hard and the engine went , nothing serious but instead of repairing myself i put it into a garage and the fuckers went bang and quite a few people lost their bikes as they were sold before the liquidators went in .
