Yes he was..he was a good jump-shot player. Sadly he died young. And he left a son looks like him. I am a Spurs fan and saw many of his games. He was a good person too.

Lord Beasley, They had way more skills than only shooting 3 pointers. How easy it is to go behind screens and shoot 3s. The players then were more creative with putting the ball in the basket

in February 1981 i went to go See the San Antoino Spurs vs the Golden State Warriors .. midway 4th quarter i walked down to the Court Entrance where the Players come out an after the Game ended i Slapped High Fives with the Ice Man as He was Walking back inside the Tunnel after the Game i had Magic on My Left Hand given to Me from # 44 .. i was in grade 6

Yeah. Grown men used to play in the NBA. They didn't need a circus to surround them. They just wanted to “ball”. They didn't wear pink sneakers. They didn't have to worry about TMZ, Twitter and Facebook. They played hard, even in the all-star games. They didn't need entourages. They didn't have to wear T-shirts under their jerseys or baggy shorts to hide their hairless bodies and stupid looking tattoos. They weren't concerned with looking cool, bling, social status or "pub", but they were concerned with fundamentals, teamwork and NO EXCUSES. These MEN took things like accountability, responsibility and dependability seriously.

@@cooper482011 no doubt about that , the air ball that knock the Lakers out of the playoffs. Follow by the ask to be traded, because he didn't want to play for Paul Westhead. Westhead getting fired. Magic getting boo at home and on the road for awhile doing the early part of the 82 season. Up until his aids announcement, the most difficult part of his early career.
