၁၉၈၁၊ အောက်တိုဘာလအတွင်းက ထိုင်းမြန်မာနယ်စပ် ဘုရားသုံးဆူဒေသတွင် တပ်စွဲထားသော မွန်ပြည်သစ် တပ်မှ တပ်ဖွဲ့ဝင်များအား ရိုက်ကူးထားသည့် မှတ်တမ်းဖြစ်ပါတယ်။
ယခုရိုက်ကူးထားသော မွန်ပြည်သစ်တပ်သည် မွန်တိုင်းရင်းသားအဖွဲ့ဖြစ်သော မွန်ပြည်သစ်ပါတီ အန်အမ်အက်ပီ၏ လက်နက်ကိုင်တပ်ဖွဲ့ ဖြစ်ပြီး မွန်ပြည်သစ်ပါတီ၏ ဥက္ကဋ္ဌမှာ ဦးနိုင်နွန်လ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ အခုမှတ်တမ်းကို ရိုက်ကူးသည့်အချိန်က မွန်ပြည်သစ်တပ်ဖွဲ့တွင် တပ်ဖွဲ့ဝင်အင်အားမှာ ကျေးရွာပြည်သူ့စစ်များ အပါအဝင် အင်အား ငါးထောင်အထိ ရှိပါတယ်။
NMSP president Nai Nonla leader commands the Peguan Army and his aim is a Burma comprising eight federal states, one for each of the ethnic groups who are fighting the Burmese authorities. But the Mons are unlikely to succeed unless they can co-ordinate resistance with other ethnic groups.
