I love Bob and this show... it brought such happiness and magic to my abusive childhood ... a truly happy escape any chance I could watch, always at 10am on summer days. Thank you Bob and CBS. It brings tears to my eyes every time x

I am 57 years old and I remember sitting with Granny and Grandpa in the living room watching the Price Is Right on a black and white TV back in 1972 . I was a 5 year old . They have watched the show since 1960 when they got their first TV set . Time has come and gone for the show and I am glad you , whoever you are for bringing everyone’s favorite game show to KZbin

@@MrHurricaneFloyd OH I know most of them were bottom of the barrel shit boxes. They give away lots of Escorts, Chevettes, varieties of GM X-body crap, even some Renaults 🤮🤮🤮. I see in the 70's there were alota Vegas, Mavericks, Gremlins lol. Once in a while a high end prize was offered. They did some early 80's Toyota 4X4 pickups, those were good rigs. Once in a while there's a Jeep too.

A compact VHS recorder was definitely a big deal in 1981, when most VHS players were big clunky things that covered the whole top of a console TV. And having the "space command" wireless remote for the TV was relatively new as well.

I'm sure I saw this during the holidays, but I'm getting giddy whenever any1 wins anything even though this is over 40 years old. This also goes to show the more expensive most things get, the more inexpensive other things are over time. Could you imagine today a microwave being $600? O_o Also, Deborah was a trailblazer in getting that specialty shirt just for the show; nowadays every1 wears 1 to TPIR.

It looks like from 1980 to 1982 people were still living in the late 1970's. The real 1980's did not start until 1983.

I remember back when I was a little kid growing up during the 70's and those lucky days we got snowed out of school, or not so lucky?? He He when I got a cold and had to stay home from 🏫👨‍🏫School👩‍🏫🏫. I'm not condoning not going to school, but I remember being bundled up on the 🛋couch🛋, my glass of orange juice, and my Dad's LEGENDARY Egg🥪sandwich🥪 (YUM YUM YUM YUM!), and watching the Price is Right, the $25,000🔺️Pyramid🔺️, Family Feud with Richard Dawson, the 🃏🃏Jokers🃏Wild🃏🃏, and other game shows. Those were the best days!
