Hasty Heat thats why little diesels were popular then hahaha, my grandfather worked for volkswagen and he used to buy those and trade them in for the new one every like 15000 miles, he is so lucky that he got to own all of those volkswagens when they were new

@@1986Honda4trax the MK2 intake manifold off a golf, and the VNT15 turbo with integrated manifold off a jetta made for a real sweet turbo addition to the 1.6 stock diesel. though it could make 20 psi of boost quick, we limited it to 6 psi to keep it mild. it did a great job of adding a pinch of power, and really cleaning up the exhaust, while boosting fuel mileage.

@@HastyHeatLLC usually when a truck is referred to as a 1/2 or 3/4 ton, it is in reference to the payload capacity of the bed. As the capacity is higher, the frame is usually implied to be more robust. With that in mind, I now highly doubt it’s a 1/2 ton truck. I think you mean curb weight.
