1982 Cadillac Eldorado Fuel Pump Easy Access

Positive wire has 6 volts of power. This fuel pump is 27psi. The car runs a lot better now and it starts right up. Now time to Hit home Depot for a small sheet metal square and some silicone to cover up and seal the opening.

Siphon out as much fuel as possible and dtop the tank. On the ground with a jack , its 2 hrs tops and its done tught Use a brass tool for the lock ring to prevent sparks

Yo I just broke the fuel pump on the cadillac 1980 Fleetwood should I do the same thing cut the trunk but it's full of 10 batteries and 3 pumps Just might do what you did

Yeah I would remove all the batteries first, then cut it out and put a sheet metal plate on there with silicone and a self tapping half inch long screw on each corner after the repair.

Dude, It's only 4 bolts holding that tank up. I could've had that tank dropped in 15minutes. Much better solution than cutting up the car.

U would have to go under the car and stick Your hand in there and feel on top of the gas tank see where the fuel lines go to. It's usually in the center of the gas tank.
