1982 Flyer E901A/E902 trolleybuses - the final days

On April 20, 2008, the last Flyer E902 trolleybus 2805 was finally withdrawn from revenue service, officially ending the era of the Flyer E900-series trolleybuses in service. This video is made up of three parts - the first video is recorded onboard bus 2704 during its last run on rt.16 travelling along Hastings Street in a snowy night; the second video is recorded onboard bus 2805 going uphill on Main Street during its last revenue run on rt.3; and the last video is recorded onboard the same bus while it was deadheading back to VTC along 41st Avenue, and stopped in front of OTC.

missed these buses I remember when I first rode this bus way back in 1996 it was soo good to ride in. The last time I ride these buses was early 2008. But now im starting to get use to the new ones

A bus that carried hundreds of thousands over the years...I drove every bloody one no doubt...and the steering was brutal in all of them..pulling to one side was the norm...They were tired, and done, but it was indeed an art form to master them, all through the streets of Vancouver.

Sadly, 2805 was too badly vandalized for it to ever run again, The hope is to bring another vehicle back from Mendoza.

The new trolleys dewire like any other trolley bus. If anything they are worse in the winter when ice is on the lines. The onboard computer pulls the poles down when ice interupts the power

no they served translink good for many years they got old and beacuse they are a high floor bus they are not as accesable as the current low floor buses. yes the argentina ones are ones purchased from translink

Jasmine Johnston that's actually just the drivers having fun, if you draw a high amperage on a low use section of wire you can burn the dirt off.
