I'm a former police officer I was out on a traffic stop one night. The vehicle I stopped had six people in it the driver had a felony warrant. While I was trying effect a arrest everyone piled out of the vehicle. It was to the point I was going to have to use my weapon to defend myself. At the right time four Hell's Angles hualing a broken down bike in a pickup saw what was going on and stopped. One of them said Ask us to help you and I did. They knew by me asking for assistance they were covered from liability. Thing went my way thanks to them saved me from having to use my weapon and that could have gone bad too.

HA is the dominant 1% club in the NY area. For awhile it was contested on LI where the Pagans were based. After the infamous shooting at the tatoo convention in '99 (I think), 73 Pagans were arrested and HA filled the vacuum. Used to ride and rubbed elbows with HA members a bit and always found them to be stand up guys. At least in the situations I was involved with. I'm sure they weren't so nice under different circumstances. Don't know much about the Unknown Bikers. I think they have/had a CH in Williamsburg on Union(?) that I passed a few times. Not up to date with the scene, but HA ruled the roost. Lesser clubs had to pay tribute. Maybe some dispute is what led to the vests taken.

Have they seen your past vids when you drive to mob locations (houses) etc. Your a good story teller and not boring hopefully you will ignore those comments and go back to driving while going to the locations and telling us the story. Thanks for the vid. Didn't know there were so many biker clubhouses in that area of NYC. For anybody who wants to read about Hells Angels, at least in 1960's Calif, Hunter S. Thompson wrote about his experience running with them for a year. In 1969 the Rolling Stones hired the San Fran Hells Angels club to provide security for their Altamont concert and one Hells Angel stabbed a guy who had a gun, just feet away from the stage where Mick Jagger was singing "Under My Thumb." Some Hell's Angels got charged in the incident but I think they beat all charges.
@MOONEYDashCam2 жыл бұрын
Yes the hells angels had a huge security business until they started to become more of a liability than they were worth
@nagone112 жыл бұрын
Read the book, the shit was ill, Hunter in the end damn near got beaten to death by The Hells Angels, and he was writing a good book about them. As far as the guy they killed, he was a black guy who had an argument with one of them, he really had no weapon. They attacked him and killed him and got away with it. Jagger regretted hiring them as security, those guys were animals bro when they got going. A great book though.
@halibut12492 жыл бұрын
@@nagone11 - the guy at the concert who was killed, Meredith Hunter, was shown in films to have a gun.The Hell's Angels stabbed him, knocked him to the ground, and disarmed him. The Hell's Angel who stabbed went to trial for murder but was acquitted on grounds of self-defense because of the presence of the gun. The concert was poorly and hastily organized and thus didn't have time to put in place appropriate security. There were 300,000 people there. It was supposed to be a Woodstock West type of concert, free, at Altamont Speedway, with Jefferson Airship, Stones, and Grateful Dead performing. Hell's Angels agreed they would keep people away from the stage and the generators. When asked how much they wanted, they said $500 in beer. As concert goers got drunk and rowdy, pushing and shoving near the stage, things got ugly. Grateful Dead refused to go on.
@nagone112 жыл бұрын
@@halibut1249 A gun wasn't found, there is film of the incident, the Angels started beating the bark off of people early when the concert got going. The man who stabbed the black guy was acquitted because they said they couldn't prove that he did it because the stabbing was shown to be done with an upstroke to the man's body and the accused was found from the position he was in he could have only hit him with a down stroke...some crazy shit!! Sonny Barger, the head of the Hell's Angels at the time, testified to this as well. The Angels got away with murder. Gerry Garcia of TGD saw what was happening said these guys were crazy, they were doing more damage than the rowdies and refused to bring the band out and broke camp!

@@nagone11 - yes, there is film of the incident, kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZqK3fKavodejqck, and a gun is clearly visible in Merideth Hunter's hand at minute 2:04, and a witness said the Hell's Angels showed him the gun, at minute 2:37.
