Fantastic job, Virago's make one of the best platforms for mods like this imo, ie air cooled V twin , single shock rear sus and shaft drive. Love the minimal instrument cluster and single seat.Not to sure about the exhaust layout, solid rear wheel (I love spokes) and colour scheme but thats just me. Well done

Agree about the exhaust...it doesn't work with the rest of the bike. Big, bright, with 90 degree angles doesn't flow with the design...but after looking at a bike in the background that was being built at the same time as this one, I think he might be trying to make it his trademark. I believe his talent would be better used in other areas.

My 2nd motorcycle was this exact model and year. It was not a bad bike except for the leaky front shock seals, the starter ring gear that likes to shear off it's keys and spin free, hard as hell to start below 50°F, and the rear end that loves to come out from under you in the corners.

The exhaust work is really really nice, its like a trumpet under your ass, and very pretty to look at. Not engineered for backpressure, power output, fuel economy or emissions, but very pretty.
