@Tingles KZbin is really a great tool to learn it. I didn't know much about motocycle before starting this project. I found a picture of a similar projects I really liked online and I bought the seat and parts to go in that direction. Couples tips I could gave you: Film or take pictures of everything you are about to remove on your bike and it will save you a lot of time rebuilding it. Just start and attacks one problem after the other. I had so much fun making this that I will probably start a new projects with a CX500 and make multiple episodes to detail the steps!

I sold CX650s when they were new I think the fuel tank you have is from the CX650 Turbo I think the original tank was red Maybe I’m wrong It was a long time ago A CX650 turbo would be a great cafe racer Nice job on your project bike

Hi! Thank you so much! When I bought the bike I really thought it was a cx650 turbo as well! But the seller told me that it was instead a CX650E. They really look alike. I found only one CX650 Turbo converted into a cafe racer on internet and yes it look incredible with the turbo mounted under the seat!

Hey Thanks!! I have not change any shock yet, it's all stock. Since le bike is way lighter the ride is a little rough. I am planning to get something else but I don't know exactly what yet.

Brilliant build, thinking of doing one myself. Are you going to change the carbs to some mikuni’s or is that bike running okay with the stock carbs and pod filters?

Hey thank you so much! Yes I plan to change them for some Murray's. I would have to put money in the stock one to make it run perfect and I feel it doesn't worth it. The old carb would work great with the pod filter after a good tune but they need a complete rebuild prior. Good luck with your futur build!

@@manuelkunzl686 Oui bien sur! J'ai acheté la marque Bondo sur amazon. Je viens de mettre le lien dans la description du vidéo. J'ai bien aimé ce produit. Une fois sec, il est assez résistant pour être percé et fileté un peu comme du ''métal''. Bon projet!

Hi, Ich hefte den Rahmen, um sicherzustellen, dass er richtig passt. Dann entferne ich die Heftzwecke und stecke eine Metallhülse in das Chassisrohr. Ich musste das Video kürzen, weil es wirklich lang wurde... Danke! Ich schätze wirklich! Ich hoffe, dass Google gute Arbeit geleistet hat, um das Englische ins Deutsche zu übersetzen! 😁 Hi, I tack weld the frame to make sure it was fitting properly. Than I remove the tack and I inserted a metal sleeve inside the chassis tube. I had to cut the video because it was getting really long... Thanks you! I really appreciate!😁
