First car I ever owned was a 1976 Capri built in West Germany. I bought it for $1in 1990 and my buddy and I used it as a project for a month. I sold it for $200 after I realized it used a quart of oil every 20 minutes. I have no idea how KZbin brought me here but I hope you a still enjoying the car!

My dad had one of these! Don't remember the year cause I was so little but I remember riding in it! His was white! Mustangs/fox bodies for life!

I had a 1983 Capri 5.0 in the 90s. Swapped out the 302 for 351 4V H.O. from a 1985 f150. Wow that car was fast! Dam I miss it......

My tuned 05 takes Ecoboost mustangs all day. In fact, I beat my homie's St focus by half a car. Raced my coworker's 2015 gt but he did beat me by a car and a half length. But shit, I'm not that upset considering my car is over 13 years old and has 130,000 miles on it. I have bbk shorty headers, pypes off road x Pipe, borla stingers, jlt intake, with a rev x tuner bama custom tune, mgw adjustable shifter set at 40% shift reduction, koni orange shocks and struts, sr lowering springs, gt500 strut mounts and gt500 front lower control arms, and I'm running Mickey Thompson street comp tires, cross drilled and slotted rotors with ceramic pads. I'd say my Stang is legit for what it is. Next mods are larger bullit wheels and cams and I wanna go 4.10s gears. I have the stock 3.55s now and the just can't hang with my best friend's 2010 gt with 3.73 gears. I love mustangs tho. They have been my favorite car since my dad had a Mercury Capri 5.0 in the 80s. I still remember being little riding in that car. Mustangs for life!

Tastefully done mods. Could see it was a bit of a struggle to ditch some OE for you too. Has to be done to perform better and safer ! Keep any OE stuff to the car as feasible ...
