I saw them perform in August last summer. They can still rock out! They would sing "don't tell me you love me" and then we would sing "cause I don't wanna know" a woman I was standing by said she saw Night Ranger in the 80's perform and she was pregnant at the time with her daughter. Her daughter and son that are about my age were there. I am 26. I am glad I am one of my generation that can appreciate a band like Night Ranger!!

It's quite obvious that some people are just clueless. If you don't know anything about music, then you shouldn't post your nonsense. Any real musician, whether they like Night Ranger or not, will tell you they are very talented. There is a lot of music that i don't care for, but I still respect some of the artists on a talent level. There is a lack of talent in most music today. Night Ranger Rocks!

My high school jazz band had a kick-ass rhythm section (your humble poster on drums included lol) with bass, drum, guitar & keyboards in the mid-80s. Sometimes the director would let us cut loose with this one at pep rallies & games and man the mofo ROOF would come off the joint! Great memories!

On this day in 1983 {February 12th} Night Ranger performed "Don't Tell Me You Love Me" on the ABC-TV Saturday-afternoon program, 'American Bandstand'... At the time "Don't Tell Me You Love Me" was at position #46 on Billboard's Top 100 chart, two weeks later it would peak at #40 {for 3 weeks}, and it spent twelve weeks on the Top 100... "Don't Tell Me You Love Me" reached #4 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock chart... And on the same episode of 'Bandstand' they also performed "Sing Me Away", eight weeks later it would enter the Top 100 at position #73, and then four weeks later it would peak at #54 {for 2 weeks, it spent nine weeks on the Top 100... Between 1983 and 1988 the San Franciscan band had eleven Top 100 records with two reaching the Top 10; "Sister Christian" peaked at #5 {for 2 weeks} on June 3rd, 1984 and "Sentimental Street" reached #8 {for 2 weeks} on July 21st, 1985...
