1983 Super 9" Personal Fan

Model 2156.
Found this awesome little 9" stationary Super I snagged off of eBay. The "Super" brand was a fan company that sold fans primarily in Canada, for the Canadian market. Super fans are very uncommon down in the states because of that. Lasko was the main OEM for most Super fans, only differences being slight design cues and less wire spacing on the grills as Canada had stricter safety regulations than the US.

That’s one “super” find! Glad you finally acquired one. It looks great too; it’s not uncommon to see these with badly tarnished grilles and worn switch plate.

I see super fans more in Canada where they were originally from and I have relatives who live over there on mom's side. I have an ocean breeze table fan (rebated super 12c) bought during my first time back in Canada in spring after the border restrictions were less tight.
