Per Wikipedia, he died of cancer in 2021 after a post tennis career as a financial adviser. I saw him play a tour match in about 1980. I don't think he mis-hit a ball all match, and at the end he had a tiny dot in the middle of his strings from the ink on the balls. Absolutely clean hitting.
