Amazing clarity on this picture bro! 1983? Are you serious? My dude! What a trip down memory lane. One of the few times that the Lions were on NBC

SUPER cool and unique upload as usual, kind sir!! As I am a huge Billy Sims - and love the Browns -- this is a double-edged A+ NFl upload in imho! I don't think I've ever seen this one on YT ever???

Just goes to show that Cancel Culture existed even way back in '83. Howard, technically, didn't get fired over the comment, but ABC didn't renew him for '84.

I know Matthew Stafford is the best QB in Lions history and Jared Goff led them to a couple of playoff wins thanks to the team finally having All-Pro pass protection, but Eric Hipple is still my favorite Lions QB ever. I know it's nostalgia talking, because he wasn't that good. But I don't care.
@ricenglish4556Ай бұрын
Hipple had a great arm, but some accuracy issues. The Lions were a running team, but with speedy Leonard Thompson, Hipple could have thrown him a lot of long bombs. Monte Clark wanted to run the ball and with Simms, he had a reason.

Another game we didn't see because of black out, thank you! And can you put the 1981 Dallas Cowboys at detroit lions on here?
@ricenglish4556 Жыл бұрын
If there was ever a faster guy than Leonard Thompson, I never saw him. His blinding 4.3 speed was not utilized as much as it should have been. The Lions were a running team.

A rare win for the Browns against the Lions. The Browns worst win percentage against all other NFL teams is vs the Lions. .238 win %.
