Norma Rashid was great! Loved her as a kid when I was growing up. Used to see Jerry Springer almost everyday at lunchtime on Fountain Square. He would always say hi, really a nice guy back then before he was "famous".

+6828Lu - I have a biography book on Jerry that talks about this period of WLWT's history a bit.. what's interesting is, they hired him to anchor in March '84 because they were so low down in ratings they had nothing to lose.

Yeah I recall his Michael Collins World segments as a kid. He was at WLWT until at least 1993, I've seen a few clips of him on Detroit stations later in the 90s and I think he's retired now
