I've always loved those double flags. If I'm not mistaken, 27th pioneered the double flag.

Alas...we didn't get to see the guard at the end of the drum feature. That's always the best part.

Lancers we’re always one of my favorites. Such a shame they folded.

Thank you Mike Hewlett for putting up with me. Thank you Drew Porter for giving me the nickname" Sputnik" It stuck so hard, people thought it was my real name. Being from WV, I really felt like family. I loved every second. I grew up with and because of everyone I marched with. If I could have changed anything, I would have believed in the show and everyone more. The world needs more Mrs.Pattys.

Tom, it was a pleasure. My only regret is that it took me so many years to actually see your comment. Hope all is well. BTW, I have many vids here on YT.

1984 was one of the best drum lines I ever heard. They should have been #1 in percussion. Those guys were amazing that year.

I played contra for 4 years with a much fun drum corps called the Quincy Renegades. 1975 - 1978. In 1978 I was in the U.S. Navy and marched in shows on the weekends in my Navy uniform. From Norfolk, VA up to South Weymouth N.A.S.
