If you're keeping the 6.2 diesel, change out the harmonic balancer with brand new unit ASAP. The existing balancer may look okay, but the rubber is hard n dry. Old balancers destroy these engines. I changed out the balancers on both of my M1008 trucks... one of which was starting to come apart😳. The Steel Soldiers websits has all the info you need for these old cucv's along with members that know everything about them. Enjoy that m1009!
