CUCV - M1009 - Testing the Alternator and Batteries

A user of Steel Soldiers asked how to check batteries and alternator.

It was suggested to me that I make them public, so that people not on the forum might see something that helps them. Sorry for the bad quality, but like I said, they weren't made for public consumption.

Gens look to be reading OK. Driver's side is about .2 low, but that doesn't account for over a full volt missing at the batteries. I'd say cable issue/dirty contacts...

Agreed. Corrosion = resistance. Resistance = less voltage.

If I converted to 12volt, using 12 volt starter, and want convert the alternators to put out 12v, do I just unhook the negative wire from the driver alternator?
