My school friend Nads and I took time off of school to see this!! :) Botham held things up and showed his resolve and fearless ski in a bold yet ultimately futile effort. The Black wash was on...and to watch Holding, Garner, Maco, Viv, Dessie, Lloyd, Haynes, Gomes, Harper, Dujon...a privilege and delight. I look back even MORE FONDLY now on seeing some of the greatest to have played the game, represent. I admit to running onto the field at some point post the win.... and pushed out of the way by WI manager Jackie Hendricks. I apologised!! NOOO problem. Euphoric scenes that day. Come on WI circa 2021 v Sri Lanka!! Take note guys. Line, length...!!!
