Loved him. To pieces. Would have been a great sire!!!! So sad he died right after the Belmont!!!!

That’s a great point that Swale could have been a great sire. Being sired by Seattle Slew himself, just like A.P Indy for example, Swale certainly had a license to do so.

He died suddenly during a bath 8 days after the Belmont stakes of a heart attack

Doctor Carter just seemed snake bitten, running great races the same day as another horse ran just a little better.
