1984 PBA Showboat Doubles Full Telecast

Please allow me to apologize for including the original commercials in this upload. There was a certain section of the video that would not properly transfer to the Windows Movie Maker software program that I normally use. Instead of trying to bang my head trying to figure out what the problem is, I give you the entire broadcast commercials and all. I know some of the hairs on the back of your neck are standing tall.
Now, onto the broadcast. In the first match, we have the doubles team of Mark Baker and Joe Berardi taking on the 4th seeded team of Dave Husted and Ted Hannahs. The winner of the opening match faces the team of Don Genalo and Jim Miller. The winner of match 2 takes on the team of Steve Martin and Steve Fehr. The winner of match 3 will take on the team of Mark Roth and Marshall Holman. Happy viewing.

Met Al Uttecht about fifteen years ago at Fountain Bowl in Fountain Valley, California. He was in a wheelchair, nearly deaf, muscular... and he smiled a lot.

Holman & Roth were great teammates. I will tell you about that. But I know that Don Genalo used to live at Merrick, Long Island since his kidney removed. Hope Don remember this from now he's living in Perrysburg, Ohio.

What an ugly championship match, but as Bo pointed out, the team that won this literally spared their way to victory and even in low scoring matches that can make all the difference.

Never cared for Baker, Hannahs or Fehr.

I always thought Fehr was overrated. Thru it awful Baker couldn't make a spare to save his life on tour Hannahs never did nothing but win 2 titles in the same building very overrated with that drift I never thought Berardi was that good. He got lucky alot with Brooklyn's Steve Martin wasn't that good either Husted was always phenomenal for the money. Very clutch Marshall should have had 35 plus titles just bowled bad on TV Mark Roth changed bowling a phenomenal bowler. Don genalo was decent remember his 5 count to lose in the 10th Jim miller got lucky for a title. Then never did nothing but make 1 more show
