In fact Hindu majority Punjab before 1966 had an elected Sikh CM and Hindus elected a Sikh CM in Hindu majority pre 1966 Punjab and then in 2009 when Manmohan Singh was elected. I condemn 1984 violence and Sikhs have every right to question it but secularism is not a 1 way street.

All these Congress (I) politicians who were implicated in these organised genocide were all mainly from the Panjab. You failed to talk about the fake encounters that killed Sikhs. THE BJP & the Congress (I) are all the same when it comes to the Sikhs. The log angle is key. Where was certain people or why certain things were not undertaken by the state says a lot. The fact that a public inquiry in a democratic country does not take place on such a huge massacre says everything you need to know about Indian state’s inner workings. Minorities are not safe in this country. Rajiv Gandhi was fundamentally responsible for this. He does not allow Narasimha Rao to authorise the military because these were planned massacres & all these politicians are cogs in the overall machinery of this.
