Such a good choice! It’s hard to find a boat built like this post 2000. This is one that will save your life! Any where, in any conditions! An older Tayana is one of the only vessels that can rival a new Kraken! Amazingly well built boat! And beautiful (to me) both above and below decks. I’m very jealous. Happy (safe) cruising, sailor!

Nice live aboard. What is across from the front head. Also , why didn't you show the engine room access? Is there a generator? Anyway , best of luck with it , stay safe!

Across from the forward head is another storage locker. I realize I left some things out, simply because when making this video, it was really just to show our family/friends the boat if they were curious, since it's located in Fl but we live in Wisconsin. We will be making our way back to splash the boat within the next couple of months - our plan is to live aboard. I will then be adding videos (projects & more boat specifics as well as our daily life in the world of sailing), so keep an eye out. There is a generator. The previous owner installed a HUGE (9 kw) Northern Lights diesel (only has 320 hrs on it). Pretty sure we can sell power to an entire anchorage if we find ourselves in the poor house (lol). We feel very fortunate to have gotten an incredible deal on this boat (well under $100,000). The previous owner had already commissioned another, and COVID hit. I think that was in our favor. The Tayana '42 Jordan & Desiree from Project Atticus (linked below) just reviewed was listed $148k. Granted, our boat is 12 yrs older, but our engine, generator, chart plotter, etc. are all basically brand new & standing rigging is just 2 yrs old.
