Can't believe my son and I pulled the Elway! We're lifelong Packers/Brewers/Bucks fan, but I've lived in Colorado over half of my life. Elway is royalty around here and was awesome back in the day...even beating my meloved Packers in the Super Bowl shortly before I moved out here. Thanks Jabs!

I was born in Wisconsin and also moved to Colorado in the 80s. I became a huge Elway fan! We then moved to Cleveland so for two afc champ games I wre my Broncos gear to school on Browns day and everyone there hated Elway because they always beat the browns. The packer broncos super bowl is the best game of my life my two favorite teams and all time favorite players in elway and favre playing each other

I remember in 1986 my local 7-11 was dumping 1984 wax packs for 25 cents ea. So every visit I bought 5 packs of 1986 and 5 packs of 1984. I loved opening them. Took about a month to buy both boxes. Great memories!

A few months ago I found some 1991 Topps packs at a flea market, bought 20 of them for $1 each and pulled a Emmitt Smith rookie along with John Elway, Warren Moon, Dan Marino, Deion Sanders, Jerry Rice, and Lawrence Taylor. Was a very fun rip.

I opened several boxes of wax and cellos in 1980s. Found a couple of Elway rookie in top in cello boxes plus a Marino. Wonder if I still have one of those cello Elway packs? :-)

I was always primarily a baseball collector, but I had some of these '84 football cards. I moved them all several years back, but I kept my Eric Dickerson cards. I always liked him... Still have them in a binder somewhere.

In 2022 hangers ive had good luck, bought 6, best cards are Jake rogers vintage stock /99, Anthony declafanti advanced stats /300, Ronald Acuna Jr Orange /299, And a Jach Thompson independence day /76. One wander, Harper, Robert Home Run Challenges. Not to bad for 75 bucks.

This was awesome! Love old 80s football cards and 84 had a lot of great rookies & veterans. I remember hopping my bike with other neighborhood kids riding to AM/PM & buying packs of these. Later in HS I lost my Marino & Elway rookies gambling, got bluffed lol. Yes, my friends and I would play poker but instead if money, we used our sports cards & always had current Becketts on hand, $1 ante. If you do football again I suggest 1982 Topps!

I'm going to highlight something you said in here, about the BBCE not dealing much Pokemon. In that situation, if they weren't sure than they shouldn't have been authenticating it and it really throws their credibility down the drain because it makes it sound like they'll just authenticate anything if enough $$ is flashed in front of them. Another thing I don't like about BBCE is that they sell PSA authenticated packs...BECAUSE they're the ones who do the authenticating for PSA! It should be a conflict of interest in my opinion. I don't trust them.

I remember buying these. I was also a baseball only so I’d buy them(why? Idk why) and look for Steelers and throw the rest in a shoe box. I gave them away in middle school to my buddy John, who loved football. I guarantee he got ALL the rookies and stars!! Oh well???? Thanks for the video EJ.
