@@McElroysMotors I owned one about 15 years ago - drove it about 80 miles home after picking it up, and about halfway along the trip I passed a busload of German tourists. You should've seen the surprise on their faces!

Your Trabant has a Hungarian license plate number? You should find one from the former GDR (German Democratic Republic).

@@McElroysMotors People associate the Trabant 601 with German reunification. The vehicle was also produced in Germany. So why would you drive around in the USA with a Hungarian license plate?

Supposed to take 50:1 but I have been using 32:1 due to it's brand new engine.

It normally takes 50:1, older ones use 33:1. I am running 32:1 right now but plan to switch to the standard ratio once I cover 125 miles with the new engine recently fitted. So far, I covered 40 miles at just 10.6 miles per gallon.
