The yellow staining in question is driving me nuts on my 85 Vanagon. How can this be removed!? Or are you stuck painting it white?

The headliner vinyl? I'm not sure of a permanent solution. For what it's worth, this project has been on pause for some time now.

@@MercedesDieselGuy ah okay, I'm currently experimenting with some "color reconditioned balm" for vinyl/leather (headliner). So far not all that pleased with the test patch, the yellow color still seeps through.
